I get 100s of messages a day, comments, emails and interactions from women and the same 5 things come up time and again.

And I think this one is at the top of the list, especially right now as the world has changed.

The ‘I can’t do this at home/online/by myself’ because I need someone to push me.

Now before you dive in, I want you to know that I am a personal trainer and I LOVE teaching women in group classes and 1-2-1 and I LOVE coaching and cheering them on and coaching them.

But it is not about PUSHING, but rather coaching, accountability, educating and using our accountability groups and challenges to CHALLENGE them to stick at it.

What I really am bugged by right now, is that women are using this as an excuse to just not do anything.

That with gyms closed and  fitness classes haven’t been a thing since March, we are preventing ourselves from being fitter, healthier and stronger by using this excuse.  Because that is all it is- an excuse.

So let’s unpack it today (and we’ve thrown in the ‘why isn’t it just free’ excuse too).
