

Flaxseed Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup (235 ml/8 fl. oz.) unsweetened almond milk (option: unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
- 1 cup (150g/5.3 oz.) fresh or frozen berries
- 1 handful fresh spinach
- 30g (1.1 oz.) protein powder, vanilla
- 1 tbsp. flaxseed (linseed) meal
- Ice, as needed
Instructions
- Place all ingredients except for the ice in a blender and mix until smooth.
- Add ice and blend again until smooth.
- Serve in a tall glass.
Notes
Flaxseeds are very nutritious as they contain healthy omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, a significant amount of protein and a number of vitamins and minerals.
