Ingredients⁠
⁠
- 140 g extra firm tofu⁠
- 1 tsp garlic oil⁠
- 2 cloves garlic, minced⁠
- half red onion⁠
- 2 tsp tamari or light soy sauce⁠
- 75g cooked quinoa⁠
- 2 tbsp frozen petit pois⁠
- 4 small mushrooms⁠
- 2 tbsp, nutritional yeast⁠
- Vegetable broth⁠
- Lemon juice & salt and pepper for seasoning⁠
- Fresh coriander/cilantro⁠
⁠
Instructions⁠
⁠
1. Cook the quinoa by placing the dried quinoa into a saucepan and covering with double the amount of vegetable broth to water ratio⁠
2. Bring to the boil, turn the heat down to a gentle simmer, and allow to simmer for 10 minutes.⁠
3. Take off the heat and tip into a sieve, then rinse under cold water. Set aside.⁠
4. Pour the garlic oil into a non-stick skillet.⁠
5. Squeeze the tofu in between your hands to get rid of excess water then crumble it into the hot oil.⁠
6. Sprinkle over the tamari.⁠
7. Cook for about 5-7 minutes over a very high heat to crisp up the outsides.⁠
8. Sprinkle over the nutritional yeast⁠
9. Add the frozen peas and cook for 2 minutes more, before adding the cooked quinoa.⁠
10. Stir well until quinoa is cooked through then serve. ⁠

Chickpea Bolognese with Carrot Noodles

CHICKPEA BOLOGNESE WITH CARROT NOODLES

Preparation time: 5 minutes Cooking time: 25 minutes Servings: 2
Calories: 442
Total Fat 13.6g Saturated Fat 1.9g Cholesterol 0mg Sodium 735mg Total Carbohydrate 62.2g Dietary Fibre 15.3g Total Sugars 22g Protein 22g

Ingredients:

• 200g cooked chickpeas
• 1⁄2 tablespoon olive oil
• 1⁄2 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 1⁄2 tablespoons breadcrumbs, Vegan type
• 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
• 1⁄2 tablespoon ground macadamia nuts

Sauce:

• 1⁄2 tablespoon olive oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 carrot, finely chopped
• 200g can tomato sauce
• 1⁄2 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
• 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
• 1⁄2 tablespoon coconut sugar
• 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro, for garnish

Carrots:
• 4 carrots, cut into ribbons with vegetable peeler
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 190C.
2. Place chickpeas in a bowl, and toss with olive oil, oregano, salt, garlic powder, breadcrumbs, nutritional yeast, and
macadamia nuts.
3. Place chickpeas on a baking sheet and arrange in a single layer. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
4. While chickpeas are baking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add olive oil, garlic and carrots.
Cook for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
5. Remove skillet from heat, add tomato sauce, oregano, and nutritional yeast, and stir. Place back over heat and
bring to a low simmer over medium-low heat. Once simmering, reduce heat to low, add sugar, and continue cook-
ing to thicken, stirring occasionally.
6. To make carrot noodles, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Once boiling, add carrots and boil for 2-3 minutes.
Drain and set aside.
7. Add 3/4 of the baked chickpeas to the sauce and stir.
8. To serve, top carrot noodles with sauce, remaining chickpeas, and cilantro.
9. Serve.

Patriarchal beauty standards that say your body on Patriarchal beauty standards that say your body only has worth is it is slim, skinny, smooth and wrinkle free.

That ageing is the end.

That menopause is hysterical.

That our worth is determined by the number on the scale or how busy we are and what we get done.

A Warior Goddess Tribe favourite- the Chia Seed pu A Warior Goddess Tribe favourite- the Chia Seed pudding.

There is some evidence that suggests that chia seed pudding can help not just with fat loss but also hormone balance when part of an overall eating plan.

The main reason for this is that chia seeds contain 5 grams of fiber per tablespoon. Fiber is known to aid in digestion and weight loss and to help with estrogen dominance.

Plus made in this way can be an awesome subsitute for cereal for breakfast or sugary yoghurt for snacks and boost protein.

And the flavour combos are infinite: peanut butter, chocolate, coconut & raspberry, vanilla and berries.

-2 medium to large sweet potatoes (600g)⁠
-2/3 of a cup of ground almonds (80g)⁠
- 1/2 a cup of buckwheat or brown rice flour (100g)⁠
- 14 medjool dates⁠
- 4 tablespoons of raw cacao⁠
- 3 tablespoons of pure maple syrup⁠
- a pinch of salt⁠

Instructions⁠

1. Start by pre-heating the oven to 180C, then peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into chunks and place into a steamer for about twenty minutes, until they become really soft.⁠
2. Once they are perfectly soft and beginning to fall apart remove them and add them to a food processor with the pitted dates – this will form one of the sweetest, creamiest, most delicious mixes ever!⁠
3. Put the remaining ingredients into a bowl, before mixing in the sweet potato date combination. Stir well.⁠
4. Place into a lined baking dish and cook for about twenty minutes, until you can pierce the brownie cake with a fork bringing it out dry. Remove the tray and allow it to cool for about ten minutes –this is really important as it needs this time to stick together! Remove the brownies from the tray, leaving it another few minutes before cutting them into squares – then dig in and enjoy!⁠
