FIGHTER CLASS

  • These classes combine professional boxing techniques (minus the physical contact) with circuit training to create an fun but intense workout.

FIGHTER CLASS is focusing on conditioning, toning and strengthening the core.  Boxing exercises are also renowned for being great for releasing tension and relieving stress – it’s got something to do with throwing a few jabs, which can be extremely therapeutic!

No, you won’t be needing a flash robe or silk shorts (or to where a flag on your shoulder Rocky style) and you won’t be hitting anyone, but you will be getting a serious workout.

Fighter class is focusing on conditioning, toning and strengthening the core. This circuit-style blend of resistance training and aerobic exercise carries a raft of benefits. It aids the strengthening and toning of your upper body, increases your heart and lung function, and boosts your stamina. It also helps to reduce the risk of back pain and improves posture – so no more slouching! 

The boxing techniques included in the classes require concentration and focus. This will help to improve your agility (float like a butterfly) and your hand-eye co-ordination evenly on both sides of your body, unlike asymmetrical sports such as tennis and golf, so reducing postural misalignment. (This is where the muscles on one side of your body become stronger than the other causing problems with posture.) Boxing exercises are also renowned for being great for releasing tension and relieving stress – it’s got something to do with throwing a few jabs, which can be extremely therapeutic!

All our classes are group personal training style with no more than 12 per class.

FIGHTER CLASS: Fighter class is focusing on conditioning, toning and strengthening the core. This circuit-style blend of resistance training and aerobic exercise carries a raft of benefits. DAY: Wednesdays

TIME: 7.15pm

DURATION: 45 mins

WHAT TO BRING: Just yourself and lots of water. Gloves & Pads are provided but if you have your own gloves or wraps bring those too!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Cardio warm up, Pad Work Boxing in Pairs, Strength and Cardio circuits with kettlebells, battle ropes and other functional exercises.

28 Day Beginners Programme
Our 4 week introduction course is the perfect place to begin your fitness and strength journey, and a great way to get fit, strong and curvy! Accessing up to 3 Beginners Sessions a week plus Unlimited Yoga HIIT classes.  Suited for complete beginners to those a little more active wanting to add strength training to their existing workouts. It can suit even the busiest of schedules. The cost for this 4 week programme is £75. Full details here.

Progressing to Graduate Classes 

8 Session Block bookings are valid for 60 days months and Monthly Membership is a 30 day rolling membership with a 12 month or rolling 28 day no commitment. Full details here.
